Every letter begins with someone in mind. This letter was planned and curated with you in mind.
As I read through the submissions, I knew the world was changing and you were in the middle of this change, hurt, angry, sad, happy, even confused.
I think of your courage to love, and how you lose even the things you try to hold on to. I think of how you have to forgive those that hurt you while being unable to truly love. I think of sleep and dying, sorrow and joy because we cannot live without any. I think of our children and parents, our lovers and exes, our home and war torn cities.
This letter is written with you in mind. It is a siren call from the weariness that is Life’s Sea. It is our mothering blanket, it comes with a lullaby and warm back pat.
Live another day.
