The Stripes Literary Magazine
Issue V: Volume II [NOVEMBER 25, 2025]
Editorial Note
This volume is a dash. Picture it—a space, a pause, pointing at what might be real or not.
This volume is a metaphor for the empty, the vast. It is also the filling of spaces. We began this curation wary, and ended it curious.
In many ways, we sought to fill the space but, it filled us instead. It snaked up behind us and around us with emotions we cannot truly name.
But, this volume is also an invitation to become one with the space, to see it not as empty, but to let it speak.
Now more than ever, as the world burns, we look through the fire with hope that perhaps it is our rebirth and not the end.
Welcome to these Blank Spaces
May they fill you.
Abasiama Udom & Bright Kingsley
