EDITORIAL NOTE
The day I joined my classmates to play and sing kpan kpan golo was a day of joy for them and my happiest moment. It was the moment I gave myself permission to play, to laugh, to be fun.
Fun. Happy. Memories. With this issue we remember what laughter is, what joy feels like and how happiness lives among us. With happy Memories, we dream of bathing in the rain and the sheer joy of running through the streets.
With all that the world is going through, it seems cruel to remember and smile, to remember and laugh but life is lost in the face of silence and so we remember.
We remember love, life, plays, simple joys and the memory of family. We let ourselves dream of what was, content in the face of what is and hoping for what would be. We let ourselves hope for peace and dance to tunes of our childhood.
Remember.
